The Undefeated!

High Wycombe’s AC A-league team wrapped up an undefeated season with a 2-0 win over Blewbury on 10 September.  This came after draws against Aldermaston and Basingstoke. Both team members beat lower-handicapped opponents, with Mike Porter (-0.5) completing a triple peel to beat Roger Tribe (-1), and Richard Peperell (2.5) playing close to his very best in a convincing win over Peter Allan (1).
 
With two other clubs with matches still to be played, it is too early to know which team has won the league but Wycombe are still in with a chance!
