The Mary Rose's voyage comes to an end

High Wycombe had reached the semi-final of this National CA AC Tournament.  But against Surbiton at Surbiton on Wednesday 15 September, our further progress was sadly halted.  

The HWCC team of Richard Peperell, Keith Pound and Alan Clark (h'cap total 8) were up against strong opponents (4).  This showed in the morning's double and single contests, which went 2-0 to Surbiton.  And the afternoon went no better, resulting in a 5-0 victory for the home club.  Reaching the final four was no small achievement, and congratulations to Surbiton who now progress to the final.
