The long day closes

The photograph was taken at Roll up on Monday 17th of January at about 3:45.

​The sun had been lovely all afternoon and very much in our eyes from the gate end but when we got to the shelter end of the lawn I couldn't believe the length of shadows. I saw a photo opportunity, the four of us stood in line on the base line and the shadows went all the way to the other end. Interesting to see the mallet in between us.
