"I read it in the paper, so it must be true ..."

Well, maybe and sometimes maybe not.  But it was good to see a report of croquet's popularity making a national daily. The Daily Mail carried a story on 1 May with the headline, "Croquet is OK!"  Describing croquet as an ideal sport during the pandemic, it commented on the big rise in enquiries and interest in beginners' courses.  The writer noted several things that we know to be true, such as the gender-equal nature of the sport, its accessibility to all ages, and the way it can maintain Covid secure conditions.  Positive quotes came from Eugene Change at the CA. 

Extra snippets ranged widely,  mentioning Pippa Middleton, Rapper P Diddy, a US Antarctic scientific team, Pall-Mall, George Clooney, northern France and John Lewis.

All human life is connected to croquet, obviously!
