SCF GC Doubles League:
Yesterday saw a four of our members representing HWCC at Eynsham.  It proved an even contest, with pairings on both sides each winning 2 games.  So, overall, it was a very fair, drawn, result 4-4.
Ian Shore

SCF Advantage GC League (North):
On 28 June, HW Kites hosted Blewbury C.  The Kites got off to a perfect start, winning all four games in the opening round. While our visitors started to record some wins in the remainder of the day, High Wycombe ended up strong winners by 10-6 in a day played with enjoyment by both teams.  Special congratulations to Pauline Spiller (h'cap 8) for winning against Dave Grinstead (3), and to Martin Dock for  once again winning all four of his games.
Chris Webbley

SCF Advantage GC League (North):
The HW Kestrels played away to Blewbury C on 6 July. Unfortunately, a very close match ended on the very last hit of the day when the Blewbury captain had the good fortune to score a double hoop to go from 5-5 to 7-5, thus denying the Kestrels a draw.
