HWCC are in the Mary Rose final!

Our squad of Alan, Ed, David and Richard came out on top in a thrilling Mary Rose semi-final against Bury on 15 August, edging the match 4-3 to book our place in the final.

We led 2-1 after the morning session, setting up a tense afternoon. Ed hit a purple patch, wrapping up a comfortable win in quick time to put us within touching distance of victory. With just one more win needed from the three remaining matches, Alan held his nerve superbly, taking his game on the golden hoop to secure the tie – and our place in the final – in dramatic fashion.

We now face Hurlingham in the final, a repeat of the 2023 showdown which we won. Here’s hoping for the same outcome this time around!
