High Wycombe players take part in the SCF 10+ tournament series

The southern Croquet Federation ran its annual GC series of competitions for players with handicap of 10 and higher.  The aim is to give tournament experience to people who may not have played any or many tournaments in the past, in a friendly competitive atmosphere.  HWCC played a full part in this series, hosting one of the four events last month.

Congratulations to Mary Whimster and Joy Biggs for entering this year.  Joy was able to beat the player who ended up 3rd overall and Mary secured a place in the top half of the whole competition.
