0700: Groundsman Russell is on site, marking lines for the forthcoming event
0730: Tournament Manager Nigel Moore is brushing, switching and setting hoops
0800: Assistant Chris Webbley is placing flags and half-way markers
0900: Eight GC players are being welcomed, relating traffic tales and paying their fees
0930: Nigel is ringing bell to start the day's tournament
1220: All morning games have, rather surprisingly,  been completed and Nigel is doing his sums to prepare the afternoon's matches
1300: Afternoon semi-final matches are underway.  Chris is ringing Richard Peperell to find out how to get the manual toilet flush to work.  Steve Morton is visiting to fix a problem with the router. 
1400:  Sharon Clark is briefing Chris on the SCF 10+ tournament to be held 19 July
1445: Rick Lilley is completing a tense 13th hoop against Patricia Mulcahy to win the day
1500: A prize is being presented, photo taken and people are thanking Nigel and Chris for a good day's competition
1530: The ground is locked.  The car park is emptied.  The GC winter tournaments have resumed.
