To improve hygiene in our loo, the following have been fitted:
A sensor-controlled tap has been fitted to the hand basin. This means that you do not need to touch the tap to make it operate – wave your hand under the spout as in photo.
A sensor-controlled flushing system has been fitted such that you do not need to touch the handle to flush the loo – wave your hand over the top of the loo cistern as in photo.
A loo roll has been fitted by the loo door on the inside so that the lock may be operated by using a tissue thus avoiding touching the lock.
My spies tell me that this work was done by Richard, and that the jobs were by no means easy because of non-standard sizes etc. So a big thankyou goes to him for looking ahead to a time when the club will be able to re-open with greater personal safety for us all.
