While 'safe socialising' is in force, there are some limits on numbers attending. One way to get this to work is that we need to book when we want to play. Here's how:
HWCC Lawn Booking System
The booking system is accessed from the club website, under ‘Member Area / Book a Lawn’.
Logging into the booking system requires an additional login, separate to logging into the member area.
Booking System Username
Your booking system username is <firstname><surname>, as recorded in the membership list (not case sensitive). E.g. fredsmith
Your password is the same as the password for the member area of the website. You can change your password by clicking on ‘User list’ at top right of booking screen, and then clicking on your own logon name. There is not a fully automated mechanism for ‘forgot my details’ (c.f. utility companies, etc.), so please try not to forget your logon details.
If you forget your username or password you will need to contact Membership Secretary, Gerry Halls.
You have been set up with your email address (where known). The booking system uses this to confirm bookings. You can change the email used by the booking system by clicking on ‘User list’ at top right of the booking screen.
Making a booking
Each time has four slots: for the two lawns and for primary and secondary colours.
To make a booking, navigate to the desired date, and click on the time. Remember to click save once you’ve entered the details. You can only amend bookings that you’ve made yourself.
You will hopefully find the booking system easy and intuitive to use. The ‘help’ button provides further useful information.
